Expressions of Interest for Director to Pony Club Australia

Please complete the Expressions of Interest form available to download below and attach a statement outlining why you would be the best person for this role providing an outline of your relevant Pony Club experience and any other relevant experience which may be useful in the position on the Board of Pony Club Australia i.e. work history or previous board experience by close of business Friday 9th May 2014.

State Championships

The Pony Club Association of NSW (PCANSW) has announced a mandated Hendra Virus Vaccination Policy. The policy will apply to all horses attending future PCANSW official events, including State Championships and State Camp. It will take effect from January 1, 2014. Please take into consideration the time before entries close for State Champioships as you do need to provide a copy of the Hendra Vaccination certificate with the application form. Entries close around six weeks before State Championships at the State Office, so depending on when the entries close within your Pony Club Zone you will need to ensure your horse is fully vaccinated for this.

Dates and host details for State Championship Events for 2014 are as follows:

- Dressage Championships, Zone 5, Gunnedah – 26^th& 27^th April

- Jumping Equitation Championships, Zone 27, Gunning –17^th & 18^th May

- Showjumping Championships, Zone 11, Condobolin, – 5^th & 6^th July.

- One Day Event Championships, Zone 20, Albury, 27^th & 28^th September

- Mounted Games Championships, Host Zone needed, 4^th& 5^th October

- Showriding Championships, Zone 7, White Park, Scone – 6th & 7th December

Volunteer Awards

Each year the Pony Club Association of NSW wishes to recognise and appreciate our Volunteers, Junior and Associate members whose efforts have significantly assisted the running and development of Pony Club within their Club and/or Zone. Volunteer of the Year, Keith Lowe Award and Junior Service Award nominations open on the 1 March and close on the 28 June 2014. Visit our website to download the nomination forms here. Giddyupgirl Profile of the Month Competition
